Crystal Palace defender set to join Colchester United on loan

Crystal Palace defender Alex Wyter is to join Colchester United on loan according to Sky Sports.

The 19-year-old has had two loan spells in the Conference South this season where he made 11 appearances for Eastbourne Borough and two appearances for Sutton United.

His only appearance for Crystal Palace was as a substitute for Darren Ambrose in a 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup in 2010.
