Blackburn Rovers defender Alex Baptiste has been given a police caution, after he was involved in a fight outside a Blackpool bar in June, reports Burnden Aces.
The former Premier League right-back was arrested on suspicion of actual-bodily harm outside a nightclub in Blackpool on the 28th June, after he punched a 23-year-old man who allegedly touched his wife.
The 28-year-old defender reportedly threw the punch, causing the victim to lose several teeth and become unconscious. Baptiste was granted bail and was recently given a caution by the police.
Baptiste is currently on a season-long loan at Blackburn Rovers from his parent club, Bolton Wanderers, and is set to play his former team mates at Blackpool this Saturday.
