Nottingham Forest will be looking to make it eight games unbeaten when they welcome Norwich to the City Ground on Saturday.

After a slow start to the season, with the Reds drawing too many games, things have picked up in the past month, with Forest winning four of their last six games.

That has seen the side move into the play-offs and they will look to consolidate that position with another three points against the Canaries.

And, boss Aitor Karanka gave an insight into the preparations, sharing a photo and message on twitter of the players training at the Nigel Doughty Academy.

"The @SkyBetChamp returns and all of our attention is on continuing in the right direction."

The East Midlands side were one of the favourites for promotion before a ball was kicked after a very productive summer that saw many new signings arrive.

And, they finally appear to be clicking, although the former Middlesbrough boss will be expecting a tough game against a Norwich side that will leapfrog Forest with a victory.

The Verdict

It's good for Forest fans to see Karanka engaging with supporters on twitter and sending out messages.

After a tough start, Forest are starting to play the way that Karanka would've wanted. They look hard to beat and have individuals who possess real quality.

The manager deserves credit for the work he has done but now it's about maintaining those standards, starting with Norwich next up.
