Loads of Huddersfield Town fans have reacted to Danny Cowley’s post-match comments after he lost his first game in charge of the Terriers.

Sheffield Wednesday came away from the John Smith’s Stadium with all three points and a 2-0 win, in what was Garry Monk’s first game in charge of the Owls, to heap more misery on Huddersfield.

Steven Fletcher headed home the first goal in the first half after Kadeem Harris had crossed perfectly before substitute Sam Winnall headed home a second to make the points safe.

After the match, with the club now sat second bottom of the second-tier table, Cowley was clear and accepting of their current situation, saying that the only way they will get out of the slump is by showing plenty of grit and determination.

Whilst many fans were delighted to see Cowley arrive, after his comments, many wished him luck but admitted that the job may even be beyond him already…
