As we approach game week six of the Championship season we welcome our first big top-of-the-table clash.

Table toppers Leeds United welcome second place Middlesbrough to Elland Road in what is set-up to be a truly fascinating encounter.

The man experiencing his first season in English football versus the man who has done this so many times before.

But which manager has been more impressive so far this campaign?

Both Boro and United sit on 13 points with plenty of impressive traits shown by both sides.

Marcelo Bielsa's start to life in the English game is one that Leeds United could only have dreamt of, winning four of their first five games and winning them incredibly impressively.

Last weekend saw his side sweep aside Norwich City at Carrow Road like they were a non-league side, strolling to a 3-0 win and playing some delightful football.

But, if anybody is capable of stopping this Leeds side it is undoubtedly Tony Pulis's Middlesbrough.

With Pulis, you know what you are going to get, yet the former Stoke City, West Brom and Crystal Palace man is still so good at doing it that nobody has figured out how to defeat it.

Kemar Roofe and co. have been very used to having it their own way in and around their opponent's penalty area so far but that will not be the case on Friday night.

As Pulis does best, he has drilled his Boro side to be extremely tight at the back.

The trio of Aden Flint, Daniel Ayal and Dael Fry have not conceded a goal since the opening day of the season where they shipped two away to Millwall.

Last Friday saw them shut out a rampant West Brom side who had scored 11 goals in their last two games before coming up against the Riverside brick wall.

This is where they will have an advantage over Bielsa's side who have looked a little ropey when properly tested at times this season.

But Boro's attack is certainly far behind that of their opponents at the moment.

The North East side have scored just nine times so far with six teams doing better than them with Bielsa's side netting 14 already.

You get the feeling that they will need to up their attacking game significantly to take all three points.

It is the ultimate battle of an irresistible attack versus an immovable defence where both sides will need to adapt their tactics in order to win on Friday night and it is impossible to call which one will prevail.
