Grimsby Town have agreed a deal with Premier League side Brighton over playmaker James Tilley, Grimsby Telegraph report.
Football Insider reported that Tilley was in talks with Grimsby over a permanent move from Brighton, ending his current loan spell with Yeovil.
The 22-year-old is now said to have agreed a move and an announcement could now follow in the next few days.
Tilley made 20 appearances for Yeovil this season, having moved on a one-year loan deal in September, but that is now expected to be cut short for him to complete his move to Grimsby.
Making his senior debut for Brighton in 2015 at the age of 16, Tilley has gained a positive reputation, playing as either an attacking midfielder or as a striker.
Tilley is expected to go straight into the Grimsby side, and reports of a completed deal are to be believed then he could make his debut for the club against Exeter City on Saturday afternoon.
Sitting 17th in the League Two table, boss Ian Holloway will be hoping Tilley can come in and provide a fresh attacking approach.
