‘Agree, looked lazy for ages’ – Plenty of West Brom fans debate key decision ahead of Stoke City tie

Many West Bromwich Albion fans have shared their opinion on who should be dropped from the starting eleven for Grady Diangana against Stoke City on Monday evening.

Diangana is expected to return to Slaven Bilic’s starting eleven after making a substitute appearance last weekend following his return from injury.

The West Ham loanee has become a key player in Bilic’s side this season, registering five goals and five assists in his opening 20 Championship appearances.

Adding to those statistics is the fact that West Brom failed to win four games over the winter period whilst Diangana was out injured, but his return is much anticipated by Bilic and the club’s fans.

West Brom face Stoke City on Monday evening at The Hawthorns as they look to maintain top spot in the league standings and it remains to be seen who Bilic will opt to select in his attacking line up.

Hal Robson-Kanu and Charlie Austin have struggled over the festive period, whilst Kenneth Zohore has been scoring important goals, but the likes of Matt Phillips have also struggled and the former Blackpool man could drop to the bench.

Fans of the Baggies took to Twitter on Friday to share their opinion on who Diangana should replace and the majority seemed to opt for Phillips to be left out.

Below are just some of the responses to a question asked by West Brom fan account @BaggiesHQ.
