Leeds United will be desperate to bounce back to winning ways as soon as possible after the disappointment of their midweek defeat to Queens Park Rangers.

The clash at Loftus Road was the Whites’ game in hand on Norwich City and Sheffield United and would have seen them go back to the top of the table, but they could not take their chance.

Tonight, they welcome West Bromwich Albion to Elland Road as they look to make a big statement in the race to win automatic promotion to the Premier League.

One player whose position remains slightly uncertain after recent performances is right-back Luke Ayling.

A solid performer and fan favourite earlier in the campaign, Ayling looked set to be a key member of a Whites squad that looked destined for the Premier League.

But now, things look very different. A few shaky performances and the fans have turned on the 27-year-old with many calling for him to be dropped for tonight’s match.

So, how will he be feeling going into the clash?

I imagine his confidence will be pretty low and will terrified of making another mistake that could cost his side again.

As soon as Leeds start playing with fear, that is when they will begin to falter so keeping spirits hight should be an absolute priority for Bielsa and his staff.

Ayling is as professional as they come but after recent reactions to his performances it is only natural for him to have been considerably effected.
