Nottingham Forest produced a solid performance against Preston North End at the weekend, on an afternoon where the Reds were unable to put the pressure on the play-off places.

The Reds huffed and puffed throughout the 90 minutes, but were unable to make their pressure count as they lost ground on the top six.

In the grand scheme of things, it was a well-earned point for Forest - Deepdale is a tricky place to go to, and the Reds rarely looked troubled after a commanding defensive performance.

Yohan Benalouane formed a good understanding with Alexander Milosevic at the back on Saturday, and the latter put in yet another impressive performance since arriving on a free transfer in January.

The Swede wins plenty of headers, and is the no-nonsense centre-half that Forest have been craving for the vast majority of this season, so it is going to be incredibly hard for Tobias Figueiredo to get back into the team...

The 25-year old hasn't featured for the East Midlands club since the end of December against Queens Park Rangers after picking up an injury, and as he looks to make a return to first-team action, he could find his first-team chances very limited.

With Danny Fox leaving in January and Michael Dawson and Michael Hefele both sidelined for lengthy spells, Figueiredo is likely to be used as back-up to Benalouane and Milosevic, but it will be very tough to earn a starting berth under O'Neill whilst the pair continue to perform as they currently doing.
