Joe Worrall is a player that Nottingham Forest fans want to see succeed and flourish at their club.

A strong track-record at England youth level and a defender who has started to rack up appearances in Garibaldi Red; many are expecting him to enjoy a good career.

However, in order to do that it seems as though he must leave the Reds this summer on loan.

Indeed, according to yesterday's printed Sun - page 60 - the defender is not in the plans of Aitor Karanka at this current point in time.

That's not to say he won't be in the future, of course, but he needs to be playing and so, right now, it's time to go and earn his keep elsewhere.

Of course, Reds fans may feel a little reluctant to let a good young player leave the club but, at the same time, they should see that it would be for the best.

Michael Dawson, Danny Fox, Michael Hefele and Tobias Figueiredo all appear ahead of Worrall in the pecking order this season.

Indeed, there seems little chance of Worrall getting the levels of game time that has been afforded him in recent times.

Undoubtedly, the centre-half can become a very good player - Premier League level perhaps - but to do so he needs to leave on loan, and Reds will surely accept that.
