It's the news that most Leeds United fans had been dreading all summer.

Talismanic striker Chris Wood officially sealed his switch to Premier League side Burnley today for a fee in the region of £15 million.

Wood has been exceptional for the Whites since joining from Leicester City and his 27 goals in the Championship last season meant he was the top scorer in the division.

Leeds boss Thomas Christiansen now has the tough task of replacing such a prolific striker, and will no doubt be looking to secure a deal for a new forward in the coming days.
