Football League World’s Chris Thorpe will be live at Plough Lane tomorrow evening, as AFC Wimbledon prepare to take on Peterborough United in Sky Bet League One.

Both sides will be seeking to bounce back from their respective FA Cup exits after departing the competition in the second round after both going down 2-1 to Chorley and Crawley Town respectively.

Peterborough United currently sit in second place of the third tier standings, with Darren Ferguson's men knowing that a victory at Plough Lane could see them into top spot if other results go there way on Tuesday.

Where as Wimbledon will be looking to get back to winning ways in the league after losing their last League One outing to Gillingham during a hectic run of fixtures in November.

Changes are to be expected for a Dons side that has been largely put to the test by a run of four games in the space of just nine days, with the likes of Alex Woodyard - who will be turning out against his former side - and Ryan Longman likely to be handed recalls in place of Ethan Chislett and Ollie Palmer respectively for the hosts.

Meanwhile top scorer for the Posh, Jonson Clarke-Harris may miss out after recently picking up an ankle injury against Plymouth Argyle, meaning Ferguson could hand a start to Mohamed Eisa in attack, thus adding even more speed and threat in behind to the front two.

Peterborough have never previously lost back-to-back meetings with AFC Wimbledon in League One; they lost their last such encounter 1-0 in January last season.

AFC Wimbledon have won just one of their last 10 home league games, drawing six and losing three, a 1-0 victory against Blackpool in their final game in their temporary stay at Loftus Road.

Siriki Dembele is the one to watch for the away side, with the nimble striker having contributed to nine goals in his last 11 league outings through both goals and assists.

Posh tend to dominate possession and it is expected that Wimbledon will drop a few yards deeper on Wednesday evening to cope with the threat that the away side pose in behind through the pace of the front two.

Furthermore the Dons will be seeking to score more than one goal in a game for the first time since the 3rd November against Doncaster Rovers - with the ability to stick away their chances sure to prove crucial if Glyn Hodges and his side are to achieve a positive result on home turf.
