FLW reporter Jack Rosser was present at the Cherries press conference today, where AFC Bournemouth manager, Eddie Howe, said he is looking forward to seeing a response from his side after the disappointment of the last minute draw against Sheffield Wednesday.

Howe is looking for a response

He said the break in games since the 2-2 draw has served the side well: "They have been very good, the actual break in games came at a good time for us because of the way we play we feel we always need to work certain things about our style of play and the way we work

"With the amount of games that we had in a short period of time we hadn't really trained for a long period of time, properly, so to get that opportunity to get back on the training ground and re-touch our core principles I think has been really beneficial for us so hopefully I'm looking forward to seeing a renewed energy and response to that disappointing result."

Bournemouth face Bolton at home on Monday night after all the other promotion chasers have played, and Howe is relishing the fixture: "I try to look at it positively, we're excited by the possibility of playing on Monday, whether it's an advantage or disadvantage who knows."

"The key thing is it's a night game and we do well under lights at home, it's a chance again for us to show everyone we're a good side."

Bournemouth have two Sky Bet Championship games remaining, Bolton Wanderers at home and Charlton Athletic away on the final day of the season, and their fate is still in their hands, should they win both they will reach the Premier League.
