Sheffield Wednesday made it two wins from two yesterday as they saw off South Yorkshire rivals Barnsley at Hillsborough.

Goals from new signing Jacob Murphy and Steven Fletcher were enough for the home side to take all three points and move to the top of the Championship, albeit after only two games of the season.

Manager Lee Bullen is doing himself no harm whatsoever as he continues to build a case to be the permanent man in charge of the club, and he will be delighted with what he is seeing from his players.

Two of the key players for Bullen thus far have been Adam Reach and Sam Hutchinson, who seem to be using all their experience at Championship level to help blood the new signings into the first-team while they are also delivering in terms of their own performances.

And attacking midfielder Reach took to his Instagram page yesterday to share some of his thoughts on his story, with one particular picture of him and Hutchinson sure to go down well with the Owls fans.

Hutchinson has long been one of the fan favourites at Hillsborough and to see him enjoying a good run of form and fitness and keeping the spirits of the group up will be good to see for Wednesday fans.

The midfielder seems to have finally got over his injury problems and if he can keep fit alongside teammate Reach, then Wednesday could well find themselves in the promotion picture come the end of the season.
