Adam Le Fondre has given his view on former club Bolton Wanderers' situation, saying he hopes they do not go in to liquidation, ahead of the club's High Court hearing later today.

The Championship club will appear in court later over a winding-up petition issued by HM Revenue & Customs, which could see them go into administration or face liquidation.

Le Fondre, who now plays for Sydney FC in the Australian A-League, posted this message on his personal Twitter feed earlier today, giving his thoughts on the situation.

The striker was replying to a post from the BBC Radio Manchester Sport Twitter page which explained three possible outcome's of today's High Court hearing.

The Verdict:

Le Fondre spent three separate spells with Bolton and clearly has a soft spot for his old side, as evidenced by his Twitter post and his view will be shared by the club's fans.

It has been a dreadful season Wanderers, both on and off the field, with players and staff receiving February's wages late.

Their recent home game against Millwall was only cleared to go ahead three days before due to concerns over sufficient stewarding.

Now there is a serious chance the club's finical problems could seem them go into administration or even worse, liquidation.

Everyone associated with Bolton will be keeping their fingers crossed ahead of what is a huge day for the football club.
