Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen will be utilising this January transfer window to help reinforce their squad for a promotion push.

What do Leeds need? What would be the Whites' dream January transfer window?

We discuss....

Alfie Burns

Chris Martin or Jordan Hugill in and Jay-Roy Grot out on-loan.

It’s simple from here for Leeds - they desperately need to get a striker to the club this month if they are to finish in the top-six.

A central midfielder would be a bonus too, but focus has to be going on the club’s strikeforce.

George Dagless

Adam Clayton arrives with Jordan Hugill.

I think it's pretty safe to say that Leeds United could do with a new striker this window and Hugill would be a class act.

Then, to add some steel in midfield, Clayton would be another decent signing with good experience.

Sam Preston

A reliable goalscorer - Jordan Hugill looks the best available option - an experienced goalkeeper and Kyle Bartley comes back.

That would equip Leeds with a spine ready to push for promotion in the second half of the season.

January additions need to make an instant impact and that would tighten Leeds up at the back and add a goal threat straight away.

Chris Gallagher

A new striker!

The Whites are desperately short up front and have been linked with several players. Jordan Hugill and Jack Marriott are the two best options realistically and either would make a major difference.

In an ideal world, Marriott's Peterborough teammate Marcus Maddison would also arrive at Elland Road to give them more creativity and Adam Clayton to bring steel and determination to the middle of the park.

They should have the money after the Chris Wood sale and these deals would transform the club.
