Despite both men being linked with moves away from The Reebok stadium, Bolton boss Dougie Freedman has stated that the players will not move unless either player desires to move on, or a bid is received that Bolton’s board feel that they cannot turn down.
Adam Bogdan,26, cemented his place as Bolton’s first choice goalkeeper in the 2012-13 season playing 40 times but last season struggled with injury making only 12 appearances for the Trotters.
The tall Hungarian has just one year left on his contract at The Reebok stadium which added to the gossip surrounding him.
Exciting Midfielder Davies sat out much of the first half of the season with a knee injury sustained against Peterborough in February 2013, but returned mid-December to face Wigan Athletic.
Despite the injury Davies made 18 appearances in 2013-14, scoring one goal in Wanderers’ 5-1 demolition of Leeds United before again being sidelined with injury in the final weeks of the campaign.
Unlike Bogdan, Davies has a few more seasons on his contract, with it expiring in 2017.
