Ryan Sessegnon won the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Year last night at the EFL awards following an impressive season for the teenager.

Sessegnon beat Fulham team mate Tom Cairney and Wolves star Ruben Neves to pick up the top award on the night.

The 17-year-old won five awards on the night, having been named in the Club Developed XI and the Team of the Season, as well as winning the Apprentice of the Year and Young Player of the Season awards.

It has been yet another phenomenal year for the England youth international, who is wanted by a host of the biggest clubs across Europe.
