Sheffield Wednesday have revealed their third kit for the 2017/18 season, which has been designed by a fan to celebrate the club’s 150th anniversary.
Wednesday tasked supporters on designing a kit for the club’s milestone, with the wining kit worn by the first-team next season.
The club’s official website have now revealed the winner, who was 27-year old Karl Nuttall.
The strip is white and gold and is based on one of Wednesday’s classic styles.
On the white shirt it includes a gold “150 YEARS” caption along with four stars to represent their League Championships between 1902 and 1930.
Wednesday could be celebrating their 150th anniversary back in the top-flight of English football, with Carlos Carvalhal’s side in the hunt for promotion from the Sky Bet Championship.
The announcement has caused great excitement from Wednesday’s fans, with a lot of positive messages about the new strip.
