Jos Luhukay’s men entered the season somewhat as an unknown quantity, after a disappointing season last time out.

Wednesday were poor in the last campaign, but so far this season, they have looked extremely impressive both in and out of possession.

The flexible formation allows Wednesday to adjust for different transitions in play, and this is really complementing their style.

Despite only winning five games, the draws at tricky oppositions have separated Luhukay’s side from the rest of the chasing pack so far.

Whether a promotion push is realistic or not, Luhukay will feel his side have enough in the tank to do so.
