Swansea City were held to a goalless draw with Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night but Steve Cooper's side still sit just three points off the play-offs.

It was a lacklustre display and one that keeps the Swans in ninth place, though Bristol City and Preston North End both play their fixtures tonight and could extend their lead over the Welsh side.

Cooper and his squad have now won just twice in their last nine Championship fixtures and they are missing out on making up valuable ground in order to get into the top six.

Cooper has been in charge since the start of the campaign, and got off to a flying start as the Swans sat top of the table after the first six games of the season.

The Swans are among the lowest-scoring sides in the division this season and will have to work on that aspect of their game if they're to push for promotion in the final few months of the campaign.

After the game, Cooper said (via the club's official Twitter account): "I know the fans want us to win; they see a team that is trying but is capable of more than we showed tonight."

Here's how Swansea supporters reacted to his comments after the lacklustre midweek display...
