Sunderland are facing another interesting summer, with more changes set to be facing the Black Cats.  

Phil Parkinson’s side are on the outskirts of the League One play-off places as things stand, with Sunderland awaiting confirmation on what the plan is for the remainder of the season.

However, one thing is for sure, that Sunderland face a number of key decisions regarding members of their senior squad when the summer comes around.

Who signed Antonio Semenyo?

One man who has divided opinion since his arrival in 2018 is Alim Ozturk, with the 27-year-old centre-back managing 45 appearances in the red and white.

Recently, a debate surrounding Ozturk’s future has spilled onto Twitter, with Sunderland fans discussing whether the centre-back should be retained.

Whilst some don’t rate Ozturk, the general feeling is that he’s a useful player to have around and many would prefer to retain him.
