Leeds United will be licking their wounds during the international break, following defeat to rivals Sheffield United, a result that dropped the Whites out of the automatic promotion spots, leaving Norwich City and Sheffield United in pole position, with eight matches of the season remaining.
Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa will still believe he has the tools to challenge the top two , with players like 33-year-old winger Pablo Hernandez in sparkling form this season, with 12 goals and 12 assists in 33 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
But would Hernandez get into Norwich City’s starting XI right now?
“He’s one of the best players in the league, you find room for a player like that.
“Norwich have some fantastic midfield options without doubt, but Hernandez certainly has a case to get into that team.”
“I would be shocked if somehow he was not in Norwich’s starting XI if he played for the club.
“Hernandez is having the best season of his career, and the Canaries’ style of play certainly suits that of the Spaniard.
“He would be one of the first names on the team sheet if he were to don the yellow and green at Carrow Road.”
“Of course he would!
“He’d get into 60% of Premier League team’s match day squad.
“He’s a game changer, a man who can wave his wand and make things happen.
“Who wouldn’t want that?”
