Nottingham Forest returned to winning ways on Saturday as they downed Burton Albion 2-0 at home.

One player who didn't feature from the start was centre-back Joe Worrall, who was placed on the bench as Danny Fox started instead.

Worrall did come on after 23 minutes though, due to an injury to Armand Traore, and he had a fantastic game at the back for Mark Warburton's men.

The youngster secured a new deal at the City Ground today, and he'll be keen to get back into Warburton's starting eleven plans.

Should Warburton re-introduce Worrall into the starting line-up?

We take a look....

George Dagless

Warburton has to do this.

It's strange that Worrall has been on the bench the last couple of games when a left-back, Danny Fox, has taken his place.

Worrall came on early during the game against Burton Albion, though, and impressed greatly so I can't see there being any excuse for him to remain out of the side.

Chris Gallagher

Without a doubt.

Worrall came back as a sub against Burton and delivered a dominant performance. The stats show how he won many tackles and headers and also had a high pass percentage, which is essential for a Mark Warburton side.

The youngster will still make mistakes, but needs to be trusted more often as he has the potential to be a good defender. With the way Forest have struggled at the back this season, he deserves a start on merit too.

Alfie Burns

Absolutely.

Warburton’s experiment of square pegs in round holes needs to end if Forest are to compete in the Championship.

Worrall has bags of potential, and he is only going to improve with game time.

Warburton needs to put more faith in the defender.
