Ipswich Town fell to a 2-1 defeat at Whaddon Road last night, with Cheltenham Town securing their first three points of the season.

The Tractor Boys have made 16 new signings for the 2021/22 campaign, and with just under two weeks until the window slams shut, it remains to be seen if any more business will be done.

One of the most exciting additions to Paul Cook's side is the arrival of former West Brom winger Kyle Edwards.

The 23-year-old was released by the newly-relegated Championship side but spent some time on trial with Reading.

Over the last year, Edwards had been attracting the interest of second-tier duo Bournemouth and Luton Town, but it was eventually the Suffolk club who secured a deal.

Edwards was handed his Ipswich debut against Burton Albion at the weekend, but he gained 90 minutes for the first time last night.

Proving to be a constant threat on the wing, Edwards' ability and direct running helped progress his side up the pitch and into some dangerous positions.

Despite the scoreline, Edwards provided the travelling fans with some positivity, and based on his first start for the club, there will be some high expectations placed on him for what remains of the season.

Here, we look at how some Ipswich Town fans have reacted to Kyle Edwards' performance last night...
