The scoreline was not the only disappointment for Leeds United fans to cope with following the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa, but it was the subsequent two match ban handed out to striker Patrick Bamford after he conned referee Stuart Attwell into dismissing Anwar El Ghazi.

Subsequently El Ghazi's red card was rescinded and Bamford was hit with a two match ban, that means he misses that last game of the regular season, plus the first leg of the play-off semi final, after a panel found him guilty of simulation.

There has been no sympathy for Bamford, with former Whites defender Danny Mills calling the 25-year-old an embarrassment, as reported on Football Insider.

So, is Mills right in his opinion of Bamford?

We discuss........

Louie Chandler

"Absolutely.

"Going down easy when you are hit in the face is one thing but completely simulating the contact is a whole new level.

"It is utterly embarrassing and I cannot see a manager like Bielsa taking too kindly to it either."

George Harbey

"Mills is absolutely spot on.

"What Bamford did against Villa was everything that is wrong with modern football, and even he’ll probably know that he deserves his ban.

"He’s left his teammates with a real dilemma, because what if Kemar Roofe picks up an injury ahead of the play-offs now?"

Benjamin Lang

"I agree. His dive was ridiculous.

"His two-match ban is warranted, but also needless from Leeds' perspective with the play-offs approaching.

"This kind of behaviour needs to be eradicated, so the right action was taken."
