Nottingham Forest propelled themselves back into the promotion mixer with an eventful 2-1 victory over Swansea City at the weekend.
The Reds’ most recent assault on the play-offs had derailed in recent weeks, after being held to a 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town and succumbing to a bitterly disappointing 3-1 home loss to Aston Villa last time out.
Martin O’Neill’s men just weren’t at the races at the weekend, and they were made to pay for a below-par performance when Connor Roberts flicked home an effort with just 15 minutes left to play.
But Forest staged a magnificent comeback late on, thanks to strikes from Daryl Murphy and Molla Wague. Wague is now becoming quite accustomed to a late goal at the City Ground, and is now up to three goals in a Garabaldi shirt.
O’Neill joked post-match that the defender could well be a striker, but defending is what him and Yohan Benalouane are there to do, and they put in a solid performance at the weekend.
Here, we take a look at Forest fans’ reactions to his weekend performance…
I know this sounds crazy, but maybe against physical teams we should put Murph and Wague up front, look at Burnley with Wood and Barnes up top went 8 unbeaten, as think diff players suited to diff games #nffc

Finally a threat from set pieces. Very nice to see. Such an important part of the game. Nice to have Wague who really attacks set pieces getting his rewards.
3 goals in 2 starts! ???? #nffc
