Leeds United have already knocked back on enquiry for teenage sensation Jack Clarke and as journalist Phil Hay reports, they're reiterating the stance that he won't be sold this transfer window.

That hasn't stopped a host of other clubs coveting his signature, including Manchester United who allegedly joined the race yesterday.

It's a sensational rise to fame for the Under-23 player, who was virtually unknown at the start of the season.

He's burst onto the scene this campaign, looking as exciting as anyone to come out of the academy in years. He's scored twice for the first team but has still only started two matches for the Whites.

Fans are keen to see the club retain their highly-rated talent, with so much of it emerging from the academy right now.

Clarke is perhaps the jewel in the crown and that is evident when taking time to peruse the Leeds' fans thoughts on Twitter.

They're absolutely set on ensuring he remains with the club, some questioning why big teams are already sniffing around, but others just asking the club to show some ambition for once.
