A possible reunion with his former club Queens Park Rangers could be on the cards, if Moroccan attacking midfielder Adel Taarabt gets his wish and returns to England in the January transfer window.

Previously at the R's during a remarkable 2010/11 season, the former Spurs youngster has gone from world-class talent to a player who has failed to live up to the early hype.

But former Rangers team-mate Shaun Derry, speaking on the QPR Fan Show on Love Sport Radio (12 December, 9pm), suggested that Steve McClaren’s side should jump at the chance to bring Taarabt back to Loftus Road.

So is Shaun Derry right, would Taarabt be a good signing for QPR in January?

We discuss.....

I think he would mix things up a little.

It certainly wouldn’t be the end of the world if it didn’t work out – a short-term deal could be perfect for all parties involved.

Adel Taarabt knows the club, and how it works and the fans could be buoyed by his return.

I think it would be interesting to see what would happen if he were to return to Loftus Road.

George Harbey

It’s a strange one.

The main issue with Taarabt wasn’t his quality, it was his attitude - he’s a livewire for sure.

If he can knuckle down and work hard he can be one of the best players in the league on his day.

Gary Hutchinson

Absolutely not, no.

They got into a mess by bringing in big earners with poor temperaments and erratic form.

That is basically Taarabt, in a nut shell.

Steer clear.
