Bristol City are enjoying an impressive end to the season with the Robins up to sixth and into the final play-off place, with six matches of their season remaining.

Robins manager Lee Johnson is planning for the future though, with up to seven new faces including Aston Villa striker Scott Hogan being considered for next season, as reported in the Bristol Post.

So would Hogan get into the current starting XI at the Robins?

We discuss........

George Dagless

"Debatable.

"Famara Diedhiou hasn't been prolific this season but neither has Hogan.

"I think he'd push to start for sure but he doesn't walk into the side by any means - what must Mo Eisa be thinking as well? He's just not had any luck this season."

Gary Hutchinson

“It’s hard to say.

“On the face of it, no. He’s not done well at Villa and Lee Johnson’s side are top six.

“But, he might just thrive at a club where the pressure is off to a degree.

“I like Hogan and under the right circumstances, he’ll do well.”

Louie Chandler

"Absolutely not.

"It is a bit of a strange move. Granted, he has shown he can really shine at this level but not for a couple of years.

"So, is he an upgrade on Weimann or Diedhiou? I don't think so."
