Lewis Grabban has played an influential role in helping Nottingham Forest mount a play-off push under Sabri Lamouchi this term.

The Reds have made great strides of improvement under the French boss, and currently sit fifth in the Sky Bet Championship table with a top six finish looking likely.

Last year was a disappointing one under Martin O'Neill, but Grabban scored plenty of goals in what was his first season at the City Ground following his move from AFC Bournemouth.

The 32-year-old netted 17 goals last term, and he has already netted 17 times with nine games left to play this time around; Forest have finally found a proven forward who they can rely on for goals.

Forest haven't really had a out-and-out goalscorer since the days of Robbie Earnshaw. Britt Assombalonga's time on Trentside was tarnished by injuries, whilst the likes of Daryl Murphy and Jason Cummings failed to make an impact.

The Twitter account CityGroundHQ has recently asked fans whether a prime Earnshaw - the scorer of 45 goals in a Forest shirt - whether he'd get into the current side ahead of Grabban.
