Axel Tuanzebe has returned to Championship side Aston Villa for a second spell on loan from Premier League outfit Manchester United in the summer.

Steve Bruce is obviously a big fan of Tuanzebe and is keen to make the loan deal permanent according to the Birmingham Mail.

Tuanzebe has been a bright spark in a difficult start to the season for Villa, having started five of six Championship games.

With injuries restricting the 20-year-old to just four Championship starts during his loan spell at Villa Park last season both player and club will be hoping he can stay fit.

So would making the Tuanzebe deal permanent be good for Villa

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

He has played in seven of Aston Villa’s eight games in all competitions this season so he has been earning regular game time under Steve Bruce

And he has been impressive, but the club should hold out until the end of the season once the loan has expired as his early season form needs to become consistent over the season.

If he can do that then the move would be viable. You don’t want to make a signing only for the player to become lazy after getting a permeant move, which does happen.

Monitor the situation a little more before deciding on anything

George Dagless

Absolutely, it'd be a great deal.

Villa need options at the back and Tuanzebe is potentially a good one.

He'll want assurances he's going to play in the centre but if he is shown that will be the case it could happen.

Gary Hutchinson

Villa are trying to do too much on permanent deals at the moment.

What they should be concentrating on is winning games and getting up the table.

If that happens, better players might be available than Tuanzebe.

They can’t do anything until January, so I’d think about other priorities.
