‘Absolutely incredible stuff’ – Plenty of Leeds United fans react to interesting Bielsa reveal

Marcelo Bielsa has revealed his latest method of getting the best out of his Leeds United players; he makes them watch videos of Barcelona and Manchester City playing.

Journalist Phil Hay tweeted about the new manager’s unique approach to coaching, as revealed by keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell. It’s claimed he wants his sides to watch how they move around the field and distribute the ball.

There was evidence of a fluid and vibrant style as Leeds beat Stoke this weekend, the first hour was a joy to watch as they flowed together beautifully in a style so far removed from the rigid awkwardness of last season.

If they’re that effective after one game, blowing away a recently-relegated Premier League side, how good might they be in three months time, or even six?

Fans were delighted to read about the new approach too, seeing it as another indication of their clubs transformation under the eccentric but exciting manager.

They took to twitter, as they usually do, but instead of the self-deprecating wit and acerbic comments, there was acclaim for the coach.
