Albert Adomah secured a late exit from Nottingham Forest by joining Cardiff City on loan until the end of the season.

Even though the experienced winger has featured in 24 league games for the Reds this season, the vast majority of those appearances came as a substitute.

And, with Adama Diakhaby and Nuno da Costa providing Sabri Lamouchi with more options down the flanks, it appeared that Adomah was going to struggle for minutes moving forward.

Therefore, the club were happy to sanction his departure and a move to the Bluebirds was announced by the Reds before the 11pm deadline last night.

Event though most fans understand why this decision was reached, some fans feel the 32-year-old will be missed because of his experience and his influence around the dressing room, whilst he has also won promotion in the past as well.
