Leeds United maintained their unbeaten start to the 2019/20 campaign last night with a 3-0 victory over League Two side Salford City, with one player in particular producing an eye-catching performance.

Signed from Brighton & Hove Albion on a season-long loan earlier this summer, Ben White featured in his third consecutive game for the Whites at Moor Lane and was excellent throughout the clash.

As well demonstrating an ability to read the game in a defensive sense, the 21-year-old was also very composed whilst in possession of the ball against Salford as he allowed his side to squeeze their opponents by consistently making the correct pass.

Having suffered the setback of losing Pontus Jansson to Brentford last month, Marcelo Bielsa may have unearthed the perfect replacement for the Swedish international in the form of White if the defender's recent outings are anything to go by.

After White helped his side record their second clean-sheet of the season, plenty of Leeds fans took to Twitter to react positively to his latest display.

Here are some of the best responses from the club's supporters.

White is expected to feature once again for Leeds when they head to the DW Stadium on Saturday to face Wigan Athletic in the Championship.
