Many Ipswich Town fans have taken to Twitter to react to their club's 0-0 draw with AFC Wimbledon in League One.

Having suffered three consecutive defeats to Rotherham United, Peterborough United and Sunderland, the Tractor Boys would have been hoping to get back to winning ways against a Dons side who are currently fighting for survival in the third-tier.

However, an underwhelming display by Ipswich at the Cherry Red Records Stadium resulted in them being forced to settle for a point.

James Norwood went close to opening the scoring in the 41st minute as his volley hit the crossbar.

Following the break, the forward was denied by Dons goalkeeper Joe Day who then produced another save from Ipswich's top-scorer.

The shot-stopper prevented Wimbledon from suffering a fifth home league defeat of the season by tipping over Will Keane's half-volley in the closing stages of the clash.

As a result of this draw, Ipswich missed out on the opportunity to move back into the play-off places in League One as sixth-place Portsmouth suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Coventry City.
