Plenty of Birmingham City fans have taken to social media to react to Odin Bailey's tweet after the midfielder made his home debut for the club against Barnsley last night.

The Blues delivered the perfect response to last Saturday's disappointing 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest by securing a 2-0 victory over the Tykes at St Andrew's.

After a cagey first-half, Birmingham took the lead in the 69th minute through Lukas Jutkiewicz, who headed home a Wes Harding cross.

The Blues then doubled their advantage as summer signing Alvaro Gimenez chipped Tykes goalkeeper Samuel Radlinger.

With the three points virtually secured, Pep Clotet decided to bring on Bailey in the closing stages of the game as a replacement for Jutkiewicz.

This brief cameo for the 19-year-old followed an appearance for the Blues in the Carabao Cup earlier this month at Fratton Park against Portsmouth.

After the Barnsley clash, Bailey tweeted: "Great 3 points and team performance tonight.

"Also finally making my home debut in front of all the fans was a feeling I'll never forget.

"Thanks to everyone for the ongoing support.

"There's more to come."

Upon seeing the midfielder's post, plenty of Birmingham fans reacted on Twitter in a positive manner to his comments.
