Portsmouth have confirmed the signing of Gassan Ahadme on a season-long loan from Norwich City.

The highly-rated 20-year-old has recently been on trial with the League One side, and his successes on the pitch and training ground have earned him a move to the set-to-be promotion-chasing club.

The Moroccan youth international joined Norwich after a trial period in January 2019. Born in Spain, Ahadme was playing amateur football in Spain at the time, but his successful spell with Norwich helped him pave a way into the professional game, albeit at youth-team level.

The striker has proven to be an excellent scorer of goals within Norwich’s youth-team set up, netting seven times in 18 appearances.
