Swansea City breathed fresh life into their play-off campaign on Saturday afternoon as they sealed a precious 3-1 victory over Huddersfield at the Liberty Stadium.

Steve Cooper's side were looking to end a disappointing five-game winless run and they took a first-half lead against the Terriers courtesy of Andre Ayew, but the Swans were then pegged back with 12 minutes remaining as Steven Mounie levelled the scores.

However, Swansea then conjured an immediate response as midfielder Jay Fulton headed them back in front just two minutes later, and substitute Jordon Garrick wrapped up the victory when he latched on to a through-ball before rounding the goalkeeper.

The victory represented Swansea's most impressive performance in recent weeks, and there was one man who particularly stood out as he produced his best display in a Swans shirt since his arrival at the Liberty Stadium over the summer.

Aldo Kalulu made just his third league start for the club since his loan move from FC Basel, and the attacker caused plenty of problems with his pace and energy as he threatened a number of times before providing the assist for Ayew's opening goal.

Kalulu then took to Twitter to share a delighted message after the game:

Plenty of Swansea supporters responded to Kalulu's tweet by praising the attacker's fine performance against Huddersfield, while others suggested they are looking forward to seeing more of the Frenchman between now and the end of the season.
