Former Arsenal centre-half and now football pundit Martin Keown, has given his opinion on the Bielsa/Spygate affair, claiming as a player he would be embarrassed if the Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa was his boss, as he wrote in his Daily Mail column.

Bielsa revealed at a hastily arranged press briefing on Wednesday, that the recent revelation that he had last week's opponent Derby County watched, was just the tip of the iceberg and that in fact he had, had every Leeds opponent watched this season.

So was Keown right with his comments about Bielsa?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

“Moronic.

“People need to get over it. Bielsa has said his piece, why are we still talking about it a week on?

“I’ll tell you why. People don’t want Leeds to succeed.

“Stuart Pearce demanding the result be annulled, Keown wading in too.

“Don’t they have some matches to analyse?”

Louie Chandler

"Absolute nonsense.

"I don't think there is a more appealing team to play for in the country at the moment than Leeds United.

"The players absolutely love him and I doubt they care what a miserable pundit like Keown thinks."

Jay Taylor

“Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I agree with him in a way.

“Keown is an old-school scholar of the game and holds it in high regard for team ethic and morals.

“He comes from a time when this kind of thing would have been frowned upon.

“It’s a farce and is a blatant attempt to gain the upper hand through means of unsportsmanlike behavior.

“He has a point, and I for one am inclined to be on his side in this debate.”
