‘Absolute momentum killer’, ‘Joke’ – Many Portsmouth fans react to club update

Portsmouth fans have been reacting angrily on Twitter after their League One trip to Crewe on Saturday was announced as postponed.
Following defeats against two of their promotion rivals in consecutive matches against Hull and Lincoln back in January, Kenny Jackett’s team have managed to get their campaign back on track in the previous seven days.
After comfortably beating Charlton, the Fratton Park outfit then bounced back from their draw with rivals Plymouth by dispatching Swindon Town in midweek.
But Portsmouth won’t be given the opportunity to continue their recent momentum this weekend – with Alexandra confirming that their Gresty Road pitch is frozen and therefore unplayable.
The decision comes less than two weeks after Pompey’s trip to Charlton was called off due to a waterlogged pitch at The Valley, although on that occasion, the game was rescheduled for three days later.
However, with Portsmouth in midweek action in each of the next five weeks, that won’t be possible, meaning the game isn’t likely to be played until at least the end of March.
Here’s how the Fratton Park faithful reacted on Twitter to the news of the postponement:
Joke. Never gunna get any momentum at this rate.

At Least it was early decision and saves me setting off for the game in the morning.
