Barnsley currently sit fourth in the League One table following their relegation last season, with just Peterborough United, Sunderland and Portsmouth above them.
A win on Saturday against Accrington Stanley could close the gap on the top two to just one point, but a defeat would bring their opponents level with them.
They added another member to their squad on Friday as well ahead of that clash:
With Adam Davies away on international duty with Wales and Jack Walton out with an injury, the Tykes were in need of a senior shot-stopper for their clash with Stanley.
Jordan Smith, who has made 48 appearances for the Forest first team, has arrived on an emergency loan, with the young goalkeeper expected to start against Accrington.
He has made just one appearance in the current campaign, falling way down the pecking order under Aitor Karanka.
The arrival of Smith might be timely, but it hasn't been well received by all Barnsley's supporters...
