Leeds United fell to their first defeat of the season as Garry Monk's Birmingham won 2-1 at Elland Road.

The Whites remain top of the league but they were very wasteful in possession and lacked that cutting edge in the final third.

It surprised many as the Yorkshire side went into the clash high on confidence after a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Preston in the week.

However, they were stunned in the first-half with a Che Adams double giving the visitors a two goal lead at the break.

Leeds had much of the ball but struggled to open up a Blues defence that defended deep and closed down the space for the hosts.

Even though Ezgjan Alioski pulled a late goal back, Marcelo Bielsa's men couldn't snatch an equaliser.

Whilst most fans accepted that this was a bad day at the office, some were worried that this was the start of another collapse.
