Aston Villa booked their place in the Championship play-off final with a win on penalties over local rivals, West Brom on Tuesday night.

After West Brom ran out 1-0 winners in the 90 minutes, it meant that the game went to extra-time, with the Baggies having to defend for their lives after Chris Brunt was sent off.

But with Villa not being able to find a breakthrough during extra-time, the game went to spot-kicks to decide who would make it one game away from promotion to the Premier League.

Jed Steer played his part though as he saved from both Mason Holgate and Ahmed Hegazi to see Tammy Abraham cooly slot home the winning penalty for Villa.

Steer has been hugely impressive since returning to Villa Park from his loan spell with Charlton, and he could well be a Premier League player by the conclusion of this year's campaign.

But how did Aston Villa fans react to Steer's heroics?
