Stoke City supporters have been reacting to the latest update from Sky Sports reporter Rob Dorsett that the Potters have not got any managers lined up to replace Nathan Jones.

The Potters announced the departure of Jones on Friday, with the club sitting second bottom of the Championship table having lost ten of their opening 14 Championship matches, and the club will now be needing to try and identify a successor in the next coming weeks to try and help them stage a revival.

However, this latest update from Dorsett does not inspire great confidence that the club's board are going about their search for a new manager in the right fashion, with the Sky Sports reporters suggesting that the club currently do not have anyone lined up to replace Jones, ahead of the Potters' game against West Bromwich Albion at the Bet365 Stadium on Monday night.

The reporter also suggested that Chris Hughton, who was sacked by Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer, is not keen on a Championship job so it is unlikely that he will be a candidate to take over from Jones, while he also suggested a return to the club for Tony Pulis is unlikely at this stage.

Stoke supporters do not appear to be very impressed by this latest update on the club's managerial search, with many questioning how the club can sack Jones without having at least identified someone else who can take over, given the need for the Potters to turn around their form very quickly to avoid getting cut adrift at the bottom of the table.

Here, we take a look at how Stoke supporters have reacted to this latest update on social media...
