Sunderland were denied a third straight win on Saturday afternoon, as they played out a 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

It was the Tractor Boys who took the lead on the stroke of half time, when James Norwood headed in a deflected cross from close range.

However, Sunderland responded just five minutes after the break, when Nathan Broadhead latched onto a Dan Neill through ball before firing into the bottom corner.

That was enough to ensure that both side's would settle for a point from the game, leaving the Black Cats third in the League One table, two points adrift of the automatic promotion places.

For Broadhead, his goal means that the Everton loanee has now scored five times in his last five games, making crucial to Sunderland's push for promotion in recent times.

Perhaps not surprisingly therefore, plenty of the club's fans were quick to praise the striker as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the game.

Here, we take a look at what some of those Black Cats fans had to say about the 23-year-old after that latest performance.
