Leeds United have endured a mixed season so far.

After a fantastic start, the club's form has dipped dramatically and the Whites fell down the Sky Bet Championship table.

One of the more consistent figures in the Leeds team has been full-back Luke Ayling.

The former Bristol City star has produced a number of strong displays for the Yorkshire outfit, and he's a key cog in Christiansen's setup.

But, how much is he worth in today's current transfer climate?

We discuss....

George Dagless

Near £8m.

Forgetting his recent dip in form, he is a good right-back and usually puts in a good shift.

There's plenty of sides that would like his defensive ability and commitment to the cause and so he's worth at least this figure, if not a bit more.

Chris Gallagher

About £5m.

He's a solid defender but going forward I'm not convinced he has the quality on the ball to play at a higher level.

However, you can't argue that Ayling is a very good Championship right-back and £5m would reflect that.

Adam Simeoni

£2.5-£3 million?

The full back has come under criticism for his performances lately, and this will have seen his value fall.

He's a good player, but there are a lot better than him in the division.

Alfie Burns

Ayling hasn’t been his consistent self this season, but when he is on the top of his game, it is hard to argue there is a better right-back in the Championship.

Anyone looking to lure Ayling away from Elland Road could be met by an asking price of anywhere between £5-10m, depending on who they were.

Ayling has a lengthy contract behind him, and has proved during his 18 months at Elland Road just how impressive he is, even if his recent form has let him down.
