Swansea City manager Graham Potter has kept his side in the Championship promotion race, following a 2-1 win over struggling Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend.

Potter though, knows he needs to strengthen his side ahead of the January transfer window and is targeting a loan move for Middlesbrough striker Martin Braithwaite, according to the Sun on Sunday (16 December, Page 59).

Boro manager Tony Pulis may be prepared to let Braithwaite go, either on a permanent deal, or a loan move where the players wages are totally covered not being out of the question.

So would it be good business if Swansea were to land Braithwaite?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

I think he suits the style of play that Swansea use and could be a real solid addition.

Graham Potter is doing a good job with what he has at the Liberty Stadium and I think adding Martin Braithwaite would give them added options up top and a player that, on his day, can be devastating.

Attacking additions are needed, and this is a step in the right direction.

Gary Hutchinson

A wonderful signing.

I might be guilty of waxing lyrical about Braithwaite too much, but I just can’t see why he doesn’t get a game at Boro.

He’s a real talent, he’s quick and has a good eye for goal. He’s an international forward who can, and will do better at another club.

If he moves, I’ll have a tenner on him scoring past Boro.

Alfie Burns

It could be superb business for the Swans.

Braithwaite is a good player who would fit into Swansea’s side seamlessly.

He’s great on the ball and would suit the style Graham Potter wants his side to play.
