Chelsea playmaker Kyle Scott is reportedly attracting interest from Sky Bet Championship side Swansea City.

The 21-year-old midfielder has made just one appearance for the Premier League side in his career, but has impressed out on loan at Dutch side SC Telstar this term - scoring twice in fourteen games.

It is believed that the American youngster wants to return to the UK to play football closer to Stamford Bridge, despite interest from Italian Serie B side Ascoli.

Here, we discuss whether it's a good signing for Swansea City...

George Harbey

"Scott looks to be a really exciting player on paper, who could be a real boost for Swansea.

"We've seen the likes of Chelsea youngsters Mason Mount excel at this level having spent time in Holland, so Graham Potter will be hoping that he makes a similar impact!

"They aren't a million miles off the play-offs, so the addition of Scott could be an influential one for Swansea."

Alfie Burns

"Swansea are in need of fresh blood and getting their hands on Scott is no bad thing.

"He’s at Chelsea for a reason and if he can hit the ground running in the Championship, he will make a difference.

"There will be hope he can adapt like Mason Mount rather than Lewis Baker."

Gary Hutchinson

"It’s an interesting one.

"I tend to feel Swansea is a good place for players to develop, so he’d be wise making the switch with that in mind.

"If they’re pinning promotion hopes on him, it’s a bit much.

"But if it is development and game time only they seek, he’s a wise signing."
