Wolverhampton Wanderers secured their place in the fourth-round of the Carabao Cup, after beating Bristol Rovers 1-0 at Molineux last night.

Bright Enobakhore’s 98th minute strike secured Wolves’ progression in extra time, after Rovers had managed to hold Nuno Espirito Santo’s side for 90 minutes.

Nuno made a host of changes for the visit of Bristol Rovers, leaving the likes of Leo Bonatini, Ruben Neves and Diogo Jota out of his matchday squad.

After a frustrating 90 minutes, Enobakhore finally found a breakthrough for the Sky Bet Championship outfit in the first-half of extra time, a strike that proved to be the goal to send Wolves through to the fourth round.

Nuno and Wolves had Will Norris to thank at the end of 120 minutes, with the goalkeeper producing a number of fine save to prevent Bristol Rovers, who had Tom Lockyer dismissed late in extra time.
